With a combined 20 years of experience in the wine industry, winemaker Katie Nydell and COO Amelia Toscano are passionate about applying their commitment to excellence on behalf of private clients large and small. Katie and Amelia met in 2012 while pursuing enology at Fresno State University. Their shared fascination with wine led them to Napa Valley, where they undertook a challenging and rewarding harvest together at the renowned Merryvale Vineyards in St. Helena.

 

Following this formative experience, Katie and Amelia pursued different paths within the industry, honing skills that would ultimately become complimentary in creating a dynamic consulting business. Dedicated to wine production, and thriving in positions on winemaking teams including Lambert Bridge, Skipstone, and Knights Bridge, Katie honed her expertise in crafting exceptional wines, mastering the intricate balance of tradition and innovation. She is thrilled to leverage her hands-on experience, technical skills, and insightful palate to guide wines to their highest potential.

 

Amelia shifted her focus to business-to-business sales and marketing, becoming a key player in building and promoting brands within the competitive enological supplies market. She helms Vinluxe’s business operations and exceptional customer experience.
